ABOUT US

The Nurturing & Caring Environment For Your Child

At Wholeness Occupational Therapy, Fairland we accompany each child on their journey to become thriving individuals, using various treatment modalities and approaches. We find an individualised rhythm, pace and child specific approach to help each child reach a place of harmony with themselves, the environment they find themselves in as well as connection with others. We create a safe space not only in therapy, but also aim to facilitate it outside of therapy so that optimal learning and development can take place. We take hands with all the role players that are actively involved in the child’s journey and support, as well as empower them, in order to ensure we reach our communal goal – facilitating happy, functional children.

Occupational Therapist

I graduated from University of Free State in 2011. I love helping each child be the best version of themselves; to connect with their own bodies and to develop an understanding of what their bodies need in order to thrive in various situations.
I am also very passionate about empowering parents regarding handling strategies and creating a healthy and happy home environment so that optimal learning can take place. I believe in holistic intervention and that progress happens when all the role players in the child’s life take hands and work together to achieve the same goal.

Occupational Therapist

I graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2010. With a specialization in Sensory Integration, I am passionate about helping children become independent, thriving individuals. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy and value working as part of a team and believe that this is an integral part of helping children reach their full potential. My focus is to ensure my sessions are both fun and engaging, so that children enjoy themselves so much without even realizing they’re in therapy. My love for my work shines through in my dedication to helping children grow and realize their potential.

“If we want our children to move mountains, we first have to let them get out of their chairs.”
